My first group cruise in December 2023 was such a hit, we decided that we had to do it again (scroll to the bottom to see some photos).
This time we’re taking things international with a cruise to stunning New Zealand.
Our 11 night itinerary will give us the perfect opportunity to see the best of NZ, including the famous Southern Island Sounds (Milford, Doubtful and Dusky). Picture towering mountains and cascading waterfalls - breathtaking stuff. We’ll get to enjoy a day in cosmopolitan Melbourne, explore Christchurch, discover windy Wellington, art deco Napier, and the thermal pools of Rotorua from Tauranga before finishing up in New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland.
The cruise will take place onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s smallest ship, the beautiful Norwegian Spirit. I spent 10 days onboard in May 2024, and she has become one of my favourite ships. She’s a mid-size ship and carries just over 2000 passengers (instead of the 3, 4 and 5000 of some others!). Her smaller size means she’s the perfect vessel for destination-focused cruising with so many vantage points onboard to take in all of New Zealand’s incredible scenery.
